The worst short-story spin-off I've ever read

I *loved* Alex in Delirium. I'm talking full-on amor deliria nervosa. I read the other character spin-offs from Delirium, and enjoyed them, but all the while I was waiting for Alex's story.
Every time a short story is released as a spin-off, I see comments from people slamming on them for being too short, or not being worth the price. I always ignore these comments because I end up getting some insight into a world and characters that I love, so it ends up being worth it.
This is the first time I have agreed with the naysayers. Not only was this almost comically short, it provided zero insight into the character of Alex, or the series at all. I'm upset that Lauren Oliver put such little effort into a character that I loved so much.

Disappointing

I wanted more. This is Alex. I wanted to know if he's loved before. I wanted to know his view when he saw Lena with her new man. I wanted more and this was quite disappointing.
